MERLON's external ethics board
Our external ethics board (EEB) provides MERLON with advice and guidance and, when they arise, alerts the Consortium to ethics-related concerns. The EEB is independent, ensuring objectivity and impartiality, and allowing them to oversee any conflicts of interest. It will be composed of independent experts with unique expertise in ethics and human cohorts, which are core elements of MERLON.
The EEB consists of:
- Susanne Uusitalo Ph.D. (University of Turku, and University of Oulu, Finland)
- Maire Peters, Ph.D. (University of Tartu, Estonia)
- Professor Christiani Amorim Ph.D. (Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium)
